Announcements & Connection Opportunities 8/2/25
Hi TBC Family & Friends,
I hope you have had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend. A few reminders...
If you missed Summit 1 we have 2 dates where you can join our pulse meeting and participate in our summary of what was discerned and prayerfully discussed. We would love to share and ask for your feedback on what the church discerned together. We are offering 2 occasions: this Sunday the 3rd and next Sunday the 10th at 9:15 am sharp in the room across from the nursery on the main floor. Our Focus Team is presenting this and invite any who missed Summit 1 to come and participate! Your participation is vital and desired!
We hope to say more about our soccer opportunity and appreciate so many in the meeting last Sunday. Things are progressing in a positive way. Stay tuned!!
This Sunday evening Pastor Rowley will be preaching after a time of some VBS testimonies. Pastor Rowley said this about his message... "A person asked me this week why God made it so hard to earn a living in the world. Is it because of the curse in the Garden of Eden. With the time left after testimonies, we will broach this subject." I hope you can come, and if you have a testimony to share, you can let us know by replying to this email.
Join us this Sunday morning as we continue in our series on resolving conflict in a way that pleases God! This Sunday some helpful ways to navigate potential conflict hoping to bring the emotional temperature down. Bring a friend!!!
Pastor Pat

Sunday, 9:15am - Practical Steps for Biblical Financial Stewardship
Keith Tower and Jesse Christophel are leading this class on practical steps for biblical financial stewardship. Our culture has a bad relationship with money. Debt is common, many live paycheck to paycheck, and some of us would rather ignore our bank statements than face our financial reality. But there is hope. This 6-8 session series covers basic financial stewardship-everything from creating a spending plan to paying off your debt to planning your investments. God's wisdom will not only help you find solutions for your financial struggles but will transform your heart as you begin to see your finances His way. Everyone is invited to attend... we meet upstairs in the gymnasium.
Sunday, 9:15am - Parenting - It Starts at Home
Beginning 7/27, Eli and Madeline are heading this 6-8 week series titled “It Starts at Home” where we will explore biblical and tangible ways that parents—couples, single parents, blended families, and grandparents—can build a legacy of faith for their children. Their class meets in the room across from the teen room.
Sunday, 9:15am - Go Ye... Missions
Go Ye... Missions Class: Come join Rob and Amy Hanover for an 8-week study covering how the early church started, how God used ordinary men and women to continue its growth, and how God is working today through TBC's missionaries and our personal outreach methods. Come be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to make a difference for Christ—wherever He calls you! We will be meeting July 27 - September 14 on Sunday mornings at 9:15 in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)

Our journey will take us to ancient Babylon, to learn about the fascinating, historical account of Daniel, his example to us in our walk with Christ, and the prophetic implications for our world today.
