This Sunday morning and evening we will be hearing from of of our supported missionaries, Dr. Cherian. He has an exciting ministry training up ministry leaders in India. Pastor Rowley has gone to teach a few classes at the Bible College there a couple of times in the past few years. I hope you'll be blessed by hearing from him.If you are new to Truth Baptist Church like Carol and I are, then come eat lunch with the church pastors and staff after the service this Sunday the 8th. We had a great family meeting Sunday night. If you haven't yet, please register for Summit 1 here. It is July 20th at 4 pm. Childcare is provided if you need it, and we will be having a potluck dinner. It's going to be a fun and helpful interactive evening, and we want to hear YOUR voice and input.
Father's Day is coming up on Sunday the 15th. We will NOT have a Sunday evening service on Father's Day. We hope you will give dad a great family day after our Sunday morning worship.
Anniversary Sunday and Pastor Emeritus Sunday is in 2 weeks on the 22nd. What a day we have planned! We will celebrate 45 years of being Truth Baptist Church and the blessings God has bestowed upon us! It is a great milestone to be sure! It is also the Sunday we will celebrate Pastor Bim & Deanna Rowley for 45 years of faithfully serving and leading TBC. Pastor Bim will be stepping back from leadership and into well earned retirement! Yet, he is also stepping into a new role as Pastor Emeritus. This is a high honor bestowed with love and deep respect from our church. It recognizes the service of the Rowleys and invites them to continue to serve TBC teaching, life group, preaching and serving Jesus in a more relaxed role. Join us for a church provided summer lunch in the gym after the service as we honor the Rowleys. Please register here if you haven't yet.
HERE IS HOW WE CAN ALL HELP!! We want to surprise Pastor and Deanna with a cruise as a loving thank you from all of us to them. First, would you like to participate in a low key offering as we raise the funds for their special trip? You can earmark it on an offering envelope when you do your regular giving, or online you can do it the same way electronically. Second, I urge you to give them a card and share a note of love and appreciation. I promise long after a cruise the Rowleys will read and reread the messages of love and thanks we will give them. Just bring your card or note on the 22nd and we will have a card basket.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. PIZZA WITH THE PASTORS: If you're new to TBC in the last year, we would like to invite you to join us for Pizza with the Pastors following the morning service this Sunday, June 8th, down in the Fellowship Hall below the auditorium. We do need you to register for the event here so we know how much food to plan! This time is an informal time to get to know the pastors and staff and hear about ministry opportunities, next steps, and ask questions you may still have. Children are welcome to attend with you.
2. POTENTIAL NEW MEMBER: TBC members will be voting on adding Erin Baumguart to our membership this Sunday, June 8th.
3. SUMMER SUPPER SIX: Join our Summer Supper Six for a fun time of dinner connection from June through August! Participants will be placed in groups of 6-8 to share monthly dinners, with each member contributing a dish each time you meet. Dinners can be hosted at a member's home (hosting responsibilities can rotate) or at the church’s Fellowship Hall or Gym—please coordinate with Melanie for reserving church space. Sign up by texting SUPPER to 860-289-8976 or by clicking this link by today, June 7th, and enjoy great food and fellowship this summer! Singles and couples 18 years old and older can sign up. 4. LADIES TASTE OF FELLOWSHIP: All ladies are invited to the next Taste of Fellowship this Monday night, June 9th at 6pm at Artisinal Burger in Manchester. If you can come, please text Melanie Harper or reply to this email so we can hold a seat for you. This is a time of low key community where you can bring a friend. Everyone pays for their own meal.
5. TBC 45th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: Everyone is invited to attend and to spread the word to those you know from the past who may want to attend our 45th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, June 22nd. We will also be celebrating the many years of Pastor Rowley & Deanna's faithful leadership and service and his new season as Pastor Emeritus at TBC. We are asking EVERYONE (even regular attenders) to RSVP at this link so we can know how to plan for the day. We will have our regular morning worship service at 10:30am and a catered celebration lunch for the Rowleys following the morning service.
6. BAPTISM: We will be holding a baptism service immediately following the morning service on Sunday, June 29th. If you would like to be baptized, or if you have any questions about baptism, please speak with Pastor Eli.
7. VBS DETAILS: All TBC VBS Volunteers are asked to stay after the morning service in the auditorium for a brief informational meeting on Sunday, June 29th. Also, teachers will be staying to decorate classrooms after the morning service on Sunday, July 6th. The evening service for July 6th will be a prayer meeting for VBS and a time for everyone to help rearrange and decorate the auditorium for VBS assembly. We can use all ages to help! VBS week is July 7-11th. It's not too early to start inviting your friends and neighbors!

Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Join us as we dive into the book of James, Christianity 101, if you will! Full of practical, straight to the point instruction, we will learn how to better be “doers of the Word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22), by uncompromisingly putting our faith into action! They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am - Practical Steps for Biblical Financial Stewardship
Keith Tower and Jesse Christophel are leading this class on practical steps for biblical financial stewardship. Our culture has a bad relationship with money. Debt is common, many live paycheck to paycheck, and some of us would rather ignore our bank statements than face our financial reality. But there is hope. This 6-8 session series covers basic financial stewardship-everything from creating a spending plan to paying off your debt to planning your investments. God's wisdom will not only help you find solutions for your financial struggles but will transform your heart as you begin to see your finances His way. Everyone is invited to attend... we meet upstairs in the gymnasium.
Sunday, 9:15am – Navigating through Parenting
Beginning 5/25, Eli and Madeline are heading this 6-8 week series aimed at equipping and empowering parents to help kids navigate different aspects of life in light of the current culture. Their class will meet in the room across from the teen room.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the Junior Church classroom below the auditorium. Anyone is invited to join at any time.

Wednesday, 7:00pm - Women's Bible Study
All ladies are invited to join us as we study the life of Daniel, with our tour guide, author & speaker, Amir Tsarfati, a Jewish believer, who has written the book, “Discovering Daniel”. Each chapter coincides with the 12 chapters in Daniel. Our journey will take us to ancient Babylon, to learn about the fascinating, historical account of Daniel, his example to us in our walk with Christ, and the prophetic implications for our world today. Book is available on Amazon. Study guide sold separately but is not necessary (they look very similar!)

Wednesday, 7:00pm - Rudy Nelson Life GroupWe are discussing various Bible study topics, but right now we are looking at the book of Ezra. Anyone is welcome to join in the Junior Church classroom at TBC.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Ron Radziewicz Life Group
We share snacks, fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and are doing a series called Person of Interest, Why Jesus Still Matters in a World that Rejects the Bible.
