Announcements & Connections 8/30/25
Hi TBC Family & Friends,
Heeeeeeyyy you made it to the weekend! YAY!! The fall is upon us, so let me tell you about stuff coming up:
Today at 9am is the first day of TBC Kids Soccer as kids get registered and placed onto teams. There's still time to invite your neighbor kids or the kids of co-workers as we invite the community to come play...and hear about Jesus this season!! Please be in prayer for our outreach!
This Sunday the 31st will be our closing message on peace-making and conflict resolution. We plan to visit the story of a runaway slave named Onesimus who has a life-changing encounter with Jesus and Paul helps bring reconciliation between Onesimus and his old owner Philemon. There are some real lessons to learn in this true story of reconciliation and resolving conflict! Join us at 10:30 am Sunday morning and bring a friend!
Sunday night I will be talking more about how to share your faith story. I hope you can come back at 6pm this Sunday evening.
Sept 7th we begin a new series, "Jesus Said What??", a study of His longest sermon recorded by Matthew in chapters 5-7. Also it will be name tag Sunday as we kick off the fall at Truth Baptist Church!
September 14th we would like to have a baptism service, so if you have been waiting to follow Jesus in Believers' Baptism just reach out through this email back to me or talk with Pastor Eli. ALSO, IT'S SUMMIT 2 at 4 pm that afternoon of the 14th. This summit will be fun and helpful as we discover who lives around us and as we discern, together, how to reach them for Christ! You can sign up right now by clicking here.
Lots going on friends! Have a great weekend!
Pastor Pat
