Hi TBC Family & Friends,
Beautiful Saturday to you church family. Today was the last day of our community soccer and ended with a great closing rally with trophies given and the Gospel was given in a beautiful way! The community soccer and basketball league is sooo like Jesus. He loved children and said to never forbid children from seeing Him. I am praying we reach kids and parents with the Gospel. Remember it's not our job to save people, but it is our privilege and responsibility to share Jesus with the world. YOUR STORY is a great way for you to tell people about Jesus!
I commend our great group of volunteers who made the soccer season happen! This is one way to be the Jesus Church in our community.
Another beautiful way is to invite and treat friends, neighbors, family and co-workers to a delicious evening of food, fun, and the Gospel being presented at our annual Harvest Banquet on November 8th at 5:30pm. Who can you bring? Ask God to show you who to invite. If you can afford it please treat them to dinner. Tickets are only $10 pp. It will be a delicious turkey dinner with the trimmings! Tomorrow is the last message in our series, "Jesus Said Whaaat? Messages from the Sermon on the Mount. What a powerful sermon Jesus gave to His followers. Tomorrow Jesus teaches us about authentic vs counterfeit. How do we know the difference? Join us at 10:30 Sunday morning and bring a friend.
Sunday evening join us at 6pm as our men and women's ministries meet. Our kids meet together and young people through adults meet for awesome teaching for women and also a great time together for the men! Then we have dinner together in the gym afterwards. Bring a large "one pot wonder" entree or salad and dessert to share together. If you only come to Sunday night service once a month this is the one to come to!! See you there!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRY & FELLOWSHIP: The men and the women (including teens age 12 and up) will meet separately for a time of encouragement and community this Sunday evening, October 26th, at 6pm. We will have a Fellowship meal afterwards around 7:15pm. We are asking each family to bring a "ONE POT/PAN WONDER" (enough to feed your family and a few more). This one pot wonder can be a main dish, salad, or dessert.
2. MEN'S BOWLING NIGHT: Join us Friday, November 7th at 6:30pm - 8:30pm for an enjoyable evening of bowling and fellowship at Revolutions Bowling and Lounge, 60 Bidwell Rd, South Windsor, CT. Friday, November 7th at 6:30pm - 8:30pm. The cost is $22 per person. Please register and pay for yourself, any friend you may bring, and any teen boys. The cost covers shoes and 2 hours of bowling.
3. HARVEST BANQUET SIGN UP: It's time to start inviting your unchurched friends and family for our favorite meal of the year... the Harvest Banquet. Daniel Harper will be playing music during the meal, and Pastor Pat will be giving a Gospel presentation at the end. Adults only (unless you are bringing invited guests who cannot find childcare). Tickets are $10 per person. No childcare provided. We are asking TBC Families to bring a nice dessert to share.
4. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: It's that time of year again! We are planning an Operation Christmas Child packing night on Wednesday evening, November 19th at 7pm. Everyone is invited, including kids! We are also going to be collecting donations for Operation Christmas Child boxes, so you can check out this page for some ideas... Please talk with Dave or Amy Pepe if you have any questions. Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Join us as we take a walk through the Old Testament Minor Prophets. From Hosea to Malachi, twelve in all, we’ll gain insight as we learn the who, what, where, why, and when of each letter, along with how each one applies to us. We meet in a classroom in the gymnasium, all ladies are welcome!
Sunday, 9:15am - Parenting - It Starts at Home
Beginning 7/27, Eli and Madeline are heading this 6-8 week series titled “It Starts at Home” where we will explore biblical and tangible ways that parents—couples, single parents, blended families, and grandparents—can build a legacy of faith for their children. Their class meets in the room across from the teen room.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the Junior Church classroom below the auditorium. Anyone is invited to join at any time.

Everyone is invited to join this life group that meets across from the church office at 10am on Wednesday mornings at the church. They are currently studying the love of God.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Women's Bible Study
All ladies are invited to join us as we study the life of Daniel, with our tour guide, author & speaker, Amir Tsarfati, a Jewish believer, who has written the book, “Discovering Daniel”. Each chapter coincides with the 12 chapters in Daniel. Our journey will take us to ancient Babylon, to learn about the fascinating, historical account of Daniel, his example to us in our walk with Christ, and the prophetic implications for our world today. Book is available on Amazon. Study guide sold separately but is not necessary (they look very similar!)

Any teens are invited to join in the teen room at church. Pastor Rodriguez leads the teen group.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Rudy Nelson Life Group
Everyone is invited to meet to discuss the Bible passage and sermon presented in the Sunday morning worship time. We meet downstairs in the Junior Church classroom under the auditorium from 7-8:30pm.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Ron Radziewicz Life Group
We share snacks, fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and are doing a series called Person of Interest, Why Jesus Still Matters in a World that Rejects the Bible.
