Hello TBC Family & Friends,
I hope you have had a good start to your weekend, heavy rain and all. Today seems like a milder day, which is good for those who still plan on doing some last-minute Mother’s Day shopping (hopefully, most have that checked off already).
Please join us tomorrow morning for a beautiful service of worship to God through songs, a beautiful video to honor the mothers in our lives, a missionary update from Mary Davis, and an encouraging message from Scripture about God’s everlasting love for his children.
In recognition of Mother’s Day, there will be no evening service tomorrow. Instead, we encourage you to spend quality time with your families and friends, honoring the mothers and mother-figures in your lives. For all of you who are mothers, we recognize that you fill a magnanimous role every day – no matter what season of life your children are in. To you we say THANK YOU! May God continue to grant you strength, health, peace, and joy in everything you do, for his honor and glory.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. MEN'S HIKE: Craving fresh air and good company with some other men and teen boys? Join us for a mini spring adventure at Northwest Park (145 Lang Rd, Windsor, CT) on Saturday, May 17th, where every hiker—from casual strollers to trail warriors—will find their perfect path! When we are done with the hike, we will head to the Tower's house for lunch around noon. For more information, please see Elvis Chidozie or Kevin Tower. 2. NO EVENING SERVICE: We will not be having an evening service on Sunday, May 11th for Mother's Day.
3. LADIES' TASTE OF FELLOWSHIP: All ladies are invited to the next Taste of Fellowship on Monday night, May 12th at 6pm at Tunxis Grill in Windsor. If you can come, please text Melanie or reply to this email so we can hold a seat for you. This is a time of low key community where you can bring a friend. Everyone pays for their own meal.
4. VBS MEETINGS FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS: All TBC VBS Volunteers are asked to stay after the morning service in the auditorium for a brief informational meeting on Sunday, May 25th and Sunday, June 29th. Also, teachers will be staying to decorate classrooms after the morning service on Sunday, July 6th. The evening service for July 6th will be a prayer meeting for VBS and a time for everyone to help rearrange and decorate the auditorium for VBS assembly. We can use all ages to help! VBS week is July 7-11th. It's not too early to start inviting your friends and neighbors!
5. TBC 45th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: Everyone is invited to attend and to spread the word to those you know from the past who may want to attend our 45th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, June 22nd. We will also be celebrating the many years of Pastor Rowley & Deanna's faithful leadership and service and his new season as Pastor Emeritus at TBC. We are asking EVERYONE (even regular attenders) to RSVP at this link so we can know how to plan for the day. We will have our celebration service at 10:30am and a catered lunch to follow.
6. INVITATION TO HARPER WEDDINGS (Please RSVP): Everyone is invited to Daniel and Anneliese's wedding and church reception on May 31st, but due to limited space, we do need everyone coming to RSVP by May 12th. Everyone is also invited to Jenna and Ethan's wedding and reception on August 15th, and again due to limited space, we need everyone to RSVP by May 20th. Thank you for understanding!
7. Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Join us as we dive into the book of James, Christianity 101, if you will! Full of practical, straight to the point instruction, we will learn how to better be “doers of the Word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22), by uncompromisingly putting our faith into action! They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Faith Foundations
Eli & Madeline, Keith and Wendy, and Jesse and Kim are heading up this series. This Faith Foundations series will be 10 weeks long and will look at 10 essential Christian truths. This class meets upstairs in the gym, and anyone is invited!
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the Junior Church classroom below the auditorium. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.

Junior Church is for children ages 2-9 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.

This life group is studying the book of Exodus and is open to anyone via Zoom.
Wednesday, 9:30am and 7:00pm - Women's Bible Study
All women are invited to join us as we study 12 Extraordinary Women using the book by John MacArthur. Diane LaCasse teaches this class in a classroom off the gymnasium. Please RSVP to Diane or reply to this email if you are interested in joining this study.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Teen Group
Any teens are invited to join in the teen room at church. Pastor Rodriguez leads the teen group.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Chuck Jutras Life Group
We are studying the topic of Bold Love. Anyone is welcome to join at TBC.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Rudy Nelson Life Group
We are discussing various Bible study topics, but right now we are looking at the book of Ezra. Anyone is welcome to join in the Junior Church classroom at TBC.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Ron Radziewicz Life Group
We share snacks, fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and are doing a series called Person of Interest, Why Jesus Still Matters in a World that Rejects the Bible.
