Announcements & Connection Links 11/22/25
Hi TBC Family & Friends,
In less than one week it will be Thanksgiving 2025. I'm sure some of us are among the 81 million people who will travel 50 miles or more! Others of us are hosting the 81 million of us who are traveling at Thanksgiving! I want to encourage conversation around the table, or during pie and coffee and share what you are thinkful to be thankful about. It will be encouraging. Speaking of being thinkful....
This Sunday we plan to finish our series called, "Be Thinkful." This is a great Sunday to invite family and friends as we give thanks for all God has done in our lives. The message plans to have an element where many of our church family will be giving thanks via a cardboard testimony. One after another will share their thankfulness to God without saying a word! It is quite unique and you will be blessed and amazed how God has worked in lives! So be sure to be at TBC this Sunday at 10:30 am, and bring someone with you!
Let me give a brief update about our focusing process that many many of you have been a part of since July 20 when we began our summits. Well, three summits were spent looking at our past, present, and Lord willing our future as our church family discerned and prayed, discussed and dreamed of what God was calling TBC to in our communities around us.
From your input the Leadership Team and Focus Team met in a retreat to synthesize what was gathered in our three summits and began to put feet to focusing on reaching our community as the hands and feet of Jesus to share the love of Christ found in the Gospel of Jesus! We look forward to sharing a workable discipleship pathway from someone coming to visit TBC to them being saved and discipled as a new convert, then becoming a growing follower of Jesus who shares their faith. We looked at what our focus could look like the next 5-7 years and what our inward, upward, and outward focus could be for the next 12 months. The Leadership Team is tweaking all this information, and we look forward to sharing this vision that all of us have been prayerfully discerning. Lord willing we will unveil this after the first of the year.
YOUR PRAYERS AND DILIGENT INVOLVEMENT HAS BEEN VITAL TO THIS DIRECTION! Thank you and keep praying as we gear up and finalize this process.
Also, Pastor Rowley, our Pastor Emeritus, will continue his series Sunday night at 6 pm on the role of emotions in our walk with God. He brought a great message last Sunday night. Do not miss his last installment in this timely series.
You are loved,
Pastor Pat
