This is Christmas Sunday. As a pastor I always face Christmas with the question of what can be preached that I have not already exhausted. But every year I am amazed at the inexhaustible Word of God, and this amazement is true again for the message I'll be preaching tomorrow morning.

How can a person remain encouraged in the midst of struggles and actually increase in strength? Psalm 84 is what Charles Spurgeon (a famous Baptist preacher in London from about 1850 to 1890) called one of the most sweet Psalms of Peace. We will look at this Psalm on Sunday morning.

On Sunday morning we are going to view a future event and consider the lessons that we can learn. Our natural question in the face of disaster, trial, suffering, seeming injustice is to ask, "Why Lord?"
