September 5th Update

Dear TBC Family & Friends,

On Sunday morning we will be looking at a message about “The Successful Life.”  There are many views of what success means.  We are going to look at two simple points from the Bible that attempt to state what True Success is in Life.

On Sunday evening, we are going to look at the 4th video in “The Thinking Series.”  It grapples with the question of why there is suffering and evil in the world if God is both good and all powerful.  This is a question that you will be asked in life if you work to reach others with the gospel.  It is helpful to know how to discuss this question.

Next Sunday we are going to start a series that will attempt to look at the Bigger Picture of True Spirituality.  Please pray for each of us to make genuine spiritual advancement as we think and apply these truths.  The goal is to learn how God truly thinks and how to be truly pleasing and fruitful to God and for God.  We will be focusing on the verse, “that no flesh should glory in His presence.” 1 Corinthians 1:29.  I trust you will memorize that verse and meditate on it in its context in preparation for this series.
