Paul told Timothy that in the latter days "perilous times would come." We are living in the very times Paul was talking about. In the morning message we will focus on three characteristics of the last days – the way people speak and the disintegration of the home which results in children disobeying parents. The results of disintegrating families are clearly seen in our society. We will look at the Biblical solution to this problem.

July 4th Update
2 Timothy 3:1 says that in the last days "perilous times will come," and Paul then lists 20 characteristics of the these fierce, harsh, and violent times. The Bible gives truth that can help us find God's help in the midst of the dangerous and unsettling times in which we find ourselves and times which will become worse.
Join us June 28th, 2020, to celebrate 40 years of God's work in our community through Truth Baptist Church.
June 27th Update
This week I have looked back through pictures of the last 40 years. One of the main thoughts that I have been struck with is how gracious God has been to bring various people to our church through the years. Some are still here, others have gone to heaven, others are doing a great work in other churches around the country and even the world.

Dear TBC Family & Friends, When things seem darkest, our natural inclination is to barricade ourselves behind strong walls and try to hold on for dear life. Paul’s words to Timothy were exactly opposite. Now is the time for courage, for power, for love, for advancing the kingdom of God.
May 23rd Update
Dear TBC Family & Friends, God does not want us to be afraid. Instead, he rewards us for being serving, being confident, and being courageous. God is faithful and will remember to reward us when life is done.
May 17th Update
Dear TBC Family & Friends, This morning we are going to dive into 2 Timothy. This is a much different book than 1Timothy in that it is Paul's last letter before he was killed. Paul was living in a Roman dungeon because of unjust opposition to the message of the Gospel. As we observe Paul, we can learn how to live in times like ours that are uncertain and uncomfortable.
May 9th Update
Dear TBC Family & Friends, Tomorrow is Mother's Day. It is a good time to look at what the Bible teaches about the significance and impact that mothers can have on their families. Someone stated that the "hand that rocks the cradle rules the world." It is true that mothers can have a significant impact on the future not only of their children but also of the world their children touch.
