March 19th Announcements and Connection Links
Tomorrow we will begin a series on discipleship, something that I have always been passionate about as a Christian and a pastor. But before we can begin to talk about the discipleship process, we have to talk about what it means to be a disciple of Christ first. Please join us tomorrow to hear God's Word on this matter. If you are able, please come back Sunday Evening as I will continue thoughts on Romans 14 by using 1 Corinthians 8.
March 12th Announcements and Connection Links
I hope that you all will be able to join us tomorrow for corporate worship. We will be continuing with our final message in Philippians. We'll pick up right where we left off with part 2 of "Understanding God's Provision." If you are able, please also come back for Sunday evening service where Pastor Rowley will finish up his Romans 14 study. Remember that on April 3rd, pastor Rowley and myself will conduct a Q&A on questions concerning Romans 14 and related topics.
March 5th Connection Links and Announcements
I hope that you all will be able to join us tomorrow for corporate worship. We will continue our study in Philippians where we will be looking at how we should understand God's provision. Specifically, how we as Christians should view our own personal circumstances in light of the truth that God provides for our needs.
February 26th Announcements & Connection Links
Tomorrow we will pick up where we left off in Philippians and continue to hear how Paul exhorts us to live our Christian lives. Specifically tomorrow he talks about having a peaceful life and how to obtain it. It will be a good exhortation for us to trust God and live our lives wholly for Him.
February 19th Announcements and Connection Links
Tomorrow I will step away from Philippians and preach on the topic of church membership. It will be a good reminder of what church membership is all about for those who are currently members, and a good encouragement for why we need to be members for those who are thinking about membership. Come back Sunday evening as Pastor Rowley continues his riveting series on Romans 14. I am sure it will be a blessing to all who hear. I know for myself, it has caused me to think more deeply about the biblical truth and ramifications of the passage.
February 12th Announcements and Connection Links
Please join us if you are able on Sunday morning as we corporately worship God and continue our series in Philippians. Tomorrow we will dive into Scripture and see what Paul has to say to two women in the Philippian church and their disunity. While Paul is speaking to specific people, there is much to glean from for personal application in our own lives. On Sunday evening, Pastor Rowley will be continuing his Romans 14 series. I have found it a great joy to think through the passage and be challenged with all the implications that Paul is talking about. I hope and pray it has produced humble discussions as we all seek to honor and glorify God with our lives.
February 5 Announcements and Connection Links
I hope that you will be able to worship with us tomorrow as we continue in the book of Philippians. Paul continues to talk about sanctification, this time with an exhortation to imitate godly examples. I pray that the message will be challenging and encouraging for all of us as we seek to mature in Christ! Sunday evening will be our family meeting. If it is possible, please come back in the evening time as we have the following up meeting to our last family meeting back in November.
January 29th Announcements and Connection Links
Tomorrow we will be continuing in Philippians. We will be looking at the important topic of maturing in the faith. I trust that God will use the Scriptures to challenge all of our hearts to desire to grow more in Christlikeness. If you are able, please also come back for the Sunday Evening service. Pastor Rowley will be continuing his Romans 14 series.
January 22nd Announcements and Connection Links
Tomorrow we will return to our Philippians series. We will pick up in Philippians chapter 3. We will learn from Paul that, if we do not have Jesus, our actions, social status, or anything else based on human works means absolutely nothing to God when it comes to righteousness. Please join us to hear God's Word.
January 15th Announcements and Connection Links
In the morning I am going to look at a message entitled "Fully Convinced and Intentionally Humble in Matters of Christian Liberty" (I stole the title but the message is mine!). We are living in very divisive times in our country and among Christians. Romans 14 deals with God's plan for how to love each other while at the same time having opposite and even strongly held positions on issues that affect our lives. Satan wants to divide but God is glorified when we respond properly.
