October 17th Update

Dear TBC Family & Friends,

We had a great week with the Coffey team!  Thank you all for coming out and joining via livestream.  I was so encouraged this week with Aaron’s messages and with the beautiful music.

Tomorrow morning we will be remembering the death of Jesus Christ on our behalf by partaking in Communion during the morning service.  1 Corinthians 11:25 says to “Do this in remembrance of Me.”  We will take some time to examine ourselves before we partake.  The ordinance of Communion connects us to believers in all the world and in all past generations as we continue to remember Christ’s death and sacrifice on our behalf until He returns.  I hope you can join us for this special time.  If you cannot attend in person, I hope you can partake at home along with us.

We will meet via Zoom for the Sunday evening service.  I also encourage you to attend the 5pm Zoom prayer meeting where we seek God for needs in our country, community, and church family.

If you have not yet joined into a life group, you are missing a great opportunity to connect with other believers in a more personal way that really aids in spiritual growth.

Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the Psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the Great Shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this Psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?  Anyone is invited to join.
