November 14th Update

Dear TBC Family & Friends,

The Sunday morning message this week is a culmination of the series on “God’s greatest glory is God’s purpose” for all He does.  We will look at the question of future events in light of God’s glory.  We have to ask some hard questions.  Why has God allowed the world to devolve into such anti-God unbelief?  How will this bring glory to God?  Will God turn this around before the end or does He simply come back for a final judgment?  I believe this is the most significant message possible for grasping the larger truth of the Bible and putting the whole scripture into perspective.  To accomplish this goal will take two messages.  Tomorrow we will lay the foundation and also discover how to use the glory of God as a significant argument to God for answering important prayers.   Please come or join the livestream and be ready to think.

Sunday evening we will discuss a topic from the morning message:  What would the world look like if all of the earth’s people knew God, loved and worshiped Him?  Or asked another way, if God’s perfect will was being done throughout the whole earth, what would that look like?  Also Ray Hoover mentioned a couple things last week that would be good to review.  Please join in.

Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the Psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the Great Shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this Psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?  Anyone is invited to join.
