March 5th Connection Links and Announcements

Dear TBC Family and Friends,

I hope everyone has had a great week. As I look at the forecast on the weather next week, while I still don’t understand how we can get some possible rain, I do like that the numbers are generally trending upward to where I can legitimately call the day “warm.” I feel like the day I come to church without a jacket, there should be a slight celebration! :)

I hope that you all will be able to join us tomorrow for corporate worship. We will continue our study in Philippians where we will be looking at how we should understand God’s provision. Specifically, how we as Christians should view our own personal circumstances in light of the truth that God provides for our needs.

If you are able please come back and join us for Sunday evening where Pastor Keith will be preaching for us. He’s got a great message in James and I am sure the Lord will use it to challenge our hearts and conform us to the image of His Son.

Lastly, let’s continue fervently in our prayers for the world, specifically for Ukraine and Russia. Pray for resolution, but most importantly pray that the Gospel can be proclaimed and heard and that people would be saved in Jesus Christ.

Looking forward to worshipping with you all tomorrow morning.

In Christ,

Pastor John

Colossians: What we think about Jesus matters. Our perception of Him shapes us—what we say, how we treat others, even what we think. If we paint Jesus as any less than who He is as supreme over all creation and savior of the world, not only does our theology slip, but the working out of our faith also suffers. In this 8-session series, Louie Giglio will take us through the book of Colossians to help us form a complete picture of Jesus. What we believe about Him influences everything from our corporate worship to our relationships to our attitude toward sin. Now alive in Christ, we can live a life worthy of God instead of falling back into the ways of the world.  Anyone is invited to join.
