April 3rd Announcements and Connection Links

Dear TBC Family & Friends,

Knowledge of the Resurrection has the power to transform the life of a believer and of an unbeliever alike.  Sunday morning we are going to look at the two discouraged, confused disciples on the road to Emmaus and the transformation of their lives when they realized the fact and the meaning of the Resurrection.  We should all pray that God will do the same in our lives.  It is my prayer that God will begin to motivate every one of us to fully use our influence, spiritual gifts, and resources to promote the kingdom and glory of Jesus Christ.  Things are opening back up.  Now is the time for all of us “to get back into the game” [Dave Pepe’s terminology!] and see what God will do through you and in our church this year.

Sunday evening we are going to look at the significance of the resurrection and what it means to live a resurrected life.

I want to thank Chloe and all the people who were involved in the great Good Friday service.  It was a genuine opportunity to visualize the events of the trial, crucifixion, and resurrection of Christ both through the scriptures dramatically read and the songs sincerely sung and communicated to us.  I trust God will use that evening to strengthen our understanding of those events and transform us into zealous grateful disciples of Christ.  I know all of the musicians, readers, and tech team put much sacrifice into making that evening meaningful for the rest of us.  Thank you.
