WHO or WHAT is the
WOMAN SITTING ON THE SEVEN HEADED BEAST?
Proposition: The Woman represents the satanically controlled religious system which in its successive forms has a will continue to control, deceived, and corrupt the wor1d.
Note the following proofs of this proposition.
I. The Woman Represents a System – not an individual person.
A. This woman exercises influence over and receives support from many peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues.

15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

B. This woman exercises influence over, is supported by, and commits fornication with kings from many nations and t:hrough many centuries.
She is riding a 7 headed beast which represents satanically controlled human government in its successive stages throughout human history from Egypt until Antichrlst.

Come ... I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
C. This woman is able to place the earth's inhabitants into a drunken stupor through the influence of her fornication.

D. This Woman is called "that great city" (Rev 17:18) and "Mystery, Babylon the Great" (Rev 17:5).
